Anansi's Wife & Children
Kweku Anansi the Spider Man is the son of the great sky god N'yame and the goddess of fertility, Asase Ya.
He is married to Aso. In Jamaican tales they sometimes have daughters.  Seven of his children are
portrayed here.

long suffering wife
who puts up with
Anansi's antics. Her
duties include
staying at home
with the kids. She
sometimes has
adventures with
Anansi. In some
Jamaican
AnansiStories she
is known as
Cookie.
Intikuma is Anansi
and Aso's youngest
son. He is known as
Takooma or Bro'
Takooma in Jamaican
AnansiStories.

As Takooma, he
sometimes appears
as a man with no
relationship to
Anansi. Here he is a
12 year old Spider
Boy.
Anansi's six
other children
have names
that are
associated with
their abilities.
